Execution project for the pending revegetation works in the surroundings of the funeral home. It is the will of this city council to act in the area of Avinguda de la Catalana and the descent to the Besós river park between Ronda del Barcelonès and the funeral home, improving accessibility and structuring the green and blue infrastructure. Es voluntat d’aquest ajuntament actuar en l’àmbit de l’Avinguda de la Catalana i la baixada al parc fluvial del Besós entre la Ronda del Barcelonès i el Tanatori, millorant l’accessibilitat i vertebrar la infraestructura verda i blava. L’actuació preveu que l’àmbit sigui un “eix verd estructurant”. Les obres originals es van iniciar a l'agost de 2025 després de la signatura de l'acta de comprovació del replanteig. Posteriorment, el contracte va ser objecte d'una modificació i de dues pròrrogues i fixant-se com a data de finalització el 22 de maig de 2026. Arribada aquesta data, la Direcció Facultativa va constatar que les obres no s'havien finalitzat, produint-se l'incompliment contractual i l'abandonament dels treballs per part de l'empresa adjudicatària, circumstància que va motivar l'inici de l'expedient de resolució del contracte. Com a conseqüència d'aquesta situació, la Direcció Facultativa va redactar diversos informes tècnics en què es determinaven: els amidaments finals de les unitats realment executades; les unitats pendents necessàries per completar les obres i els treballs addicionals derivats de la degradació, manca de manteniment i abandonament de l'obra. D'acord amb aquests informes, es constata que una part important de les actuacions previstes al projecte original ja es troben executades (moviments de terres, murs de gabions, part dels paviments, xarxa de drenatge, xarxa de reg, plantacions, estabilització de talussos, entre d'altres), mentre que resta pendent l'execució de diferents unitats d'obra corresponents a pavimentació, enllumenat, semaforització, mobiliari urbà, senyalització, proteccions i diversos treballs de reparació i reposició derivats del temps transcorregut des de l'abandonament de les obres.
