Smedjebackens kommun has launched a tender for construction and building works. The contract is estimated at 17,000,000 kr. The whole job goes out as a single contract, so you need to be able to deliver all of it, either on your own or together with partners.
Because this is an open procedure, any qualified company is welcome to submit a bid. All bid documents must be written in Swedish and must arrive no later than 24 Nov 2026, 00:00.
Written from the facts of the notice. The official notice is the only binding text.
Smedjebackens kommun rarely draws many bidders. Across 7 known contracts, they average only 2 bids per tender, well below the national average of 4.8 for this trade, so a well-prepared bid stands a real chance. Their latest award was a 31,550,325 kr contract (“Dansbana Söderbärke”), which went to Byggbolaget i Bergslagen AB, chosen from 3 bids. At 17,000,000 kr, this tender sits well below the typical 195,908,253 kr for this trade nationally, which gives smaller firms a better chance than on most contracts of its kind.
We base these figures on the award notices we collect: every one we hold for this buyer, plus the last twelve months of awards in this trade across the country.
Do not lose this contract over a missing document. GroundedBid reads the tender documents and lists what the buyer asks of you, each line with the page it comes from.
