Our read

Institut Municipal Parcs i Jardins de Barcelona rarely draws many bidders. Across 7 known contracts, they average only 2.6 bids per tender, well below the national average of 3.9 for this trade, so a well-prepared bid stands a real chance. Their latest award was a €951,144 contract (“Servicio de conservación de la jardinería del Parque de Cervantes y de las zona…”), which went to Fundacio Privada Tallers de Catalunya, chosen from 2 bids. At €39,864, this tender sits well below the typical €426,240 for this trade nationally, which gives smaller firms a better chance than on most contracts of its kind.

We base these figures on the award notices we collect: every one we hold for this buyer, plus the last twelve months of awards in this trade across the country.
