Our read

Secretaría General de la Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas sees slightly less bidding competition than is typical for this trade. Across 248 known contracts, they average 3.3 bids per tender, against a national average of 4.6. Their latest award was a €814,900 contract (“Suministro e instalación de un sistema avanzado de microscopía de fluorescencia…”), which went to Syntegon Telstar Technologies, S.l.u., the only bidder. At €84,460, this tender sits well below the typical €297,798 for this trade nationally, which gives smaller firms a better chance than on most contracts of its kind.
