Our read

Västra Götalandsregionen rarely draws many bidders. Across 417 known contracts, they average only 4 bids per tender, well below the national average of 8.6 for this trade, so a well-prepared bid stands a real chance. Their latest award was a 200,000,000 kr contract (“Västfastigheter - Ombyggnad för kardiologilaboratorium”), which went to Brixly, chosen from 2 bids. At 10,000,000 kr, this tender sits well below the typical 21,385,350 kr for this trade nationally, which gives smaller firms a better chance than on most contracts of its kind.

We base these figures on the award notices we collect: every one we hold for this buyer, plus the last twelve months of awards in this trade across the country.
