Our read

Azienda Usl di Reggio Emilia draws strong bidding competition. Across 11 known contracts, they average 4.7 bids per tender, well above the national average of 2.6 for this trade, so price and paperwork need to be sharp. Their latest award was a €5,449,637 contract (“Service Coagulazione 2”), which went to Instrumentation Laboratory S.p.A., chosen from 2 bids. At €66,000, this tender sits well below the typical €989,982 for this trade nationally, which gives smaller firms a better chance than on most contracts of its kind.

We base these figures on the award notices we collect: every one we hold for this buyer, plus the last twelve months of awards in this trade across the country.
