ESThe Ramon y Cajal school center is composed of 5 isolated buildings located on a plot of approximately 16.000 m2. This distribution provides a large playground or leisure area for the children. The center was not built all at once, but rather buildings were constructed as they were needed, which has caused the buildings not to be homogeneous. The building for the initial and middle cycle is the second oldest building in the complex. Its windows are made of aluminum without thermal break and its glass is simple 6 mm, with blinds on the windows. This building has 4 facades, and its orientation means that it is exposed to the sun practically all day on 3 of the 4 facades, which causes very high temperatures during hot periods. In cold periods, it also causes very large heat losses from inside the classrooms. The other building that also presents the same pathologies as the previous one is the infant cycle building, which is later than the previous building. It is a building constructed in different periods and with different volumes, joined into a single construction. The smaller windows of the toilets and a large window in the initial and middle cycle building will not be changed, as their impact on the classrooms is minimal. Their replacement is planned for a later phase.Ajuntament d'UlldeconaPLACSP 20849589€163,2891 lot, 3 monthsWed 25 Nov23:59 in Madrid17days
