Given that, as stated in the project, the action provides continuity to the Comprehensive project for environmental recovery, enhancement and tourist activation of the historic center of Ginestar “VIURE AL POBLE +”, through which the City Council renovated and redeveloped part of the old town, and aims to continue adapting the rest of the streets in the urban center. Carrer Nou is part of the expansion of the historic center of Ginestar; it is a road that is already urbanized and has all urban services, but its pavement and service networks require renewal. The action is located in the southern part of Carrer Nou, with an intervention area of 343,48 m², and proposes the redevelopment of the street with a single platform more adapted to pedestrians. The total demolition of the pavement and the road sub-base is planned, as well as the formation of a single platform finished with concrete slabs of 20x40x8 cm laid in a herringbone pattern, in continuity with the existing pavement of the adjacent streets. Likewise, the renewal of the sewage network, a new rainwater collection network (provisionally connected to the sewage system), the renewal of the drinking water network and existing connections, the placement and burial of the telecommunications network, and the renewal of public lighting with luminaires are planned.
