SUMMARY:Bids close: The object of this contract is the provision of the social canteen service for the elderly in Mont-roig del Camp\, which will consist of the preparation and production of menus in the contractor's own facilities and the distribution of meals to the private homes of elderly people in situations of vulnerability or with social and/or health needs\, through referral by the basic Primary Social Care teams. The distribution will be carried out through two weekly home deliveries which\, together\, will include the meals corresponding to the five working days of service\, prepared and delivered in a cold chain. This service will be provided throughout the municipal area of Mont-roig del Camp and will be aimed at users who have been registered by the City Council in accordance with the Municipal Regulations of the Social Canteen Service for the Elderly of Mont-roig del Camp. In general\, the service is aimed at people over 70 years of age with a lack of autonomy who meet the requirements established in the Regulations. People under 70 years of age may also access it when\, for social or health/autonomy reasons\, they cannot prepare meals by their own means or those of third parties and the need for the service has been assessed by the municipal social services.
