SUMMARY:Bids close: The subject of this contract is the provision of Psychological Support and Advisory Service for Children and Families within the Social Services of Sant Adrià de Besòs\, to intervene in an initial assessment and contact with families in situations of high vulnerability and multiple complex problems\, focusing attention on the child’s situation and their needs in order to carry out an accurate diagnosis and medium- to long-term psychosocial prognosis. In some cases\, these are families with high levels of conflict between parents\, severely affecting children’s mental health\; in others\, children with serious diagnosed mental disorders that hinder their parents’ ability to exercise parenting\; and in further cases\, children whose one or both parents have diagnosed or undiagnosed mental illness\, resulting in physical and psychological neglect as well as behaviours evidencing emotional distress. The contractual object is to maintain the psychological advisory service\, upholding its three core objectives: 1. Family support\, information\, guidance\, follow-up and referral. Guidance and information to improve or reinforce parental functions related to education and protection of children and adolescents. Identification of emotional and relational difficulties and situations of vulnerability or risk of social exclusion. 2. Psychological support and advisory service to Social Services professionals for intervention in an initial assessment and contact with families in situations of high vulnerability and multiple complex problems\, focusing attention on the child’s situation and their needs in order to carry out an accurate diagnosis and medium- to long-term psychosocial prognosis. 3. Coordination with external services intervening with the families served\, and with child and adolescent mental health services in the territory.
