SUMMARY:Bids close: The object of this contract is the provision of the vehicle removal service from public roads or public spaces using a tow truck in cases where required by the Local Police. Approximately a total of 200 services are performed annually for violations of municipal ordinances\, traffic accidents\, permanent curb cuts\, breakdowns\, etc. Generally\, the organization of the service will always be carried out under the direct orders of the Local Police\, and specifically in the following cases: • For violation of the Municipal Traffic Ordinances\, road regulations and other laws\, when these so provide. • In those cases where it is required of the Local Police by the competent authorities or bodies\, according to current regulations. • For abandonment of vehicles on public roads according to regulations on residual vehicle treatment. • In any other case that the Local Police deems necessary\, in accordance with current legislation. • When the parked vehicle constitutes a danger\, causes serious disturbances to traffic or pedestrians or damages any public service or property. The crane services considered as minimum or basic are: • Accidents\, which prevent continuing the journey and/or when vehicles are left without a person responsible on the public road. • Permanent curb cuts. • Obstruction to vehicles: double parking\, blocked street\, etc. • Emergency exits of public establishments. • Eviction of vehicles at events\, market areas and fairs. • Breakdowns of other vehicles in extreme situations: snowfall\, floods\, fires. • Vehicles recovered from thefts. • When\, once a vehicle has been immobilized in accordance with the provisions of article 104 of the Royal Decree\, of 30 of October\, which approves the consolidated text of the Law on Traffic\, circulation of motor vehicles and road safety\, the causes that motivated the immobilization do not cease.
