SUMMARY:Bids close: The subject of this contract is the procurement of the service to assess and carry out aesthetic rehabilitation and interior adaptation works to convert railcar CGFC 6202 into an interpretive classroom. The objective is\, once rehabilitated\, to position it on a short stretch of track within the new HUB el Carrilet space\, which the Deltebre Town Council is developing as a tourist attraction so that visitors to the Delta can learn about and discover its main attractions and plan their stay. Furthermore\, the fact that the railway vehicle restoration will be carried out with maximum historical rigour — restoring its exterior to its original condition — will enable the vehicle itself to become a heritage attraction\, while also serving as a tribute to the former ‘carrilet’ that connected La Cava with Tortosa. The project includes the necessary logistics\, dismantling\, bodywork and interior restoration\, chassis\, buffers and traction and impact components. Access doors\, electrical installation\, air conditioning and interiors will be adapted to provide the required functionality.
