SUMMARY:Bids close: Cercs Town Council owns the facilities of the CEIP Sant Salvador and the Els Barrufets Nursery School\, located on Camí de Sant Jordi\, 81\, in the Sant Jordi de Cercs settlement. The schools were built in 1979\, adapting to the site’s topography\, which features a significant slope. This configuration results in numerous architectural barriers affecting access to the buildings\, circulation between different educational spaces and playgrounds\, thereby hindering mobility and preventing compliance with current accessibility requirements. The works consist of improving accessibility to the CEIP Sant Salvador and Els Barrufets Nursery School buildings through construction of new accessible routes\, ramps\, stairs\, renewal of external flooring\, adaptation of access points\, improvement of external areas and the main playground\, as well as installation of protective and wayfinding elements\, bringing the entire site into conformity with the Catalan Accessibility Code. The main interventions foreseen in the project are: • Construction of a new main entrance to the school site. • Execution of accessible ramps. • Refurbishment and reconstruction of existing stairs. • Renewal of external flooring. • Improvement of access to the nursery\, primary and nursery school buildings. • Improvement of accessible routes between buildings\, playgrounds\, multi-sports court and football field. • Installation of new handrails\, balustrades and protective elements. • Improvement of landscaped and play areas. • General adaptation of all routes to Decree 209/2023\, approving the Catalan Accessibility Code.
