Drilling is planned using a rotary-percussion system to a depth of 120 metres: – the first 10 metres with a borehole diameter of 312 mm, cased with a steel tube of diameter 260 mm and wall thickness 6 mm; – the next 110 metres with a borehole diameter of 250 mm, cased with a steel tube of diameter 210 mm and wall thickness 5 mm (the final 18 metres will use a slotted pipe for water filtration). A gravity-based annular foundation of 15 m will be constructed. Compressed air cleaning of the well is also planned. The next step will be a well yield test lasting 24 hours, using equipment capable of pumping 10 m3/h to a height of 120 m, with flow and level monitoring. Well recovery monitoring and preparation of the corresponding final report are also planned. Once the well has been tested and the obtained yield verified as sufficient to meet the required flow rate, a full water quality analysis of the extracted water will be carried out in accordance with Royal Decree 3/2023, of 10 January, which establishes the technical and sanitary criteria for drinking water quality, its monitoring and supply. At the top of the well, a chamber measuring 1 m × 2 m internally and elevated 1 m above ground level will be installed; this chamber will also house the pump’s electrical control panel and the remote monitoring box. This chamber will be placed on a reinforced concrete slab measuring 3 m × 2 m and 0,25 m thick. A well protection perimeter measuring 8,4 × 7,4 m is planned.
